Sahayaak is a very comprehensive Wound Management and Rehabilitation Therapy program that reaches out to People with Disabilities (PWDs), who have been paralyzed for life due to spinal cord injuries or other debilitating conditions and disorders.
Sahayaak strives to make the latest medical and therapeutic options available to people from marginalised sections who can benefit from complex surgical procedures that address condition related to Spinal Cord Injuries, Burns, Leprosy, Elephantiasis, Orthopedic Complications, Diabetes, Vascular and Venous Conditions and host of conditions requiring corrective surgeries.
Sahaayak brings new hope and opportunities to the people in our care and sets them up to celebrate life again.
WOUND CARE AND REHABILITATION
When a disability is compounded by severe wounds, from spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, accidents, or even leprosy, healing can feel like an impossible journey. But with Sahaayak, we are here to change that narrative.
Our Approach
Our dedicated wound care team is committed to providing the best care possible. We closely monitor each wound, and ensure that it is managed well. Our enduring relationships with some of the top Vascular and Plastic Surgeons and Hospitals help us surgical with procedures as and when necessary. We manage the most challenging cases, offering a path to recovery that restores both body and spirit.
Why It Matters
Our Wound Care and Rehabilitation Centers in Bengaluru and Kalaburagi are sanctuaries of healing. Here, individuals receive care and therapies over extended periods from 2 to 6 months.
Our efforts focus on assisting people with disabilities become productive members of society and on providing them with an opportunity to live a life filled with purpose and possibility.
REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN WITH LOCOMOTOR DISABILITIES
Children with disabilities often face a world of barriers, be it due to a lack of awareness, resources, or access to essential therapy.
Our Sahaayak program attempts to change that. We work with children aged between 2 to 18 years of age and their primary caregivers in providing them with the most appropriate solution or therapy which will improve their mobility and their quality of life.
