The Covid-19 Pandemic wrecked the lives of millions across the globe. In March 2019, when Covid began to disrupt the lives of people, especially those from the poorest sections of society, we initiated the following Covid-19 relief projects. These aimed to address the immediate needs of those suffering from hunger, economic hardships, and basic health and hygiene.
Good Hot Food
During the first wave of Covid-19, we distributed a hot nutritious meal every afternoon for the homeless, disabled, abandoned, and displaced in Bengaluru.
Prana Vayu
In collaboration with other NGOs under the banner of “Corona Care Bengaluru,” the Good Sam team rushed oxygen concentrators to those who were Covid positive and in desperate need of oxygen.
Feed a Family
During the second wave of Covid-19, we initiated the project ‘Feed a Family.’ Ration kits weighing 20 kgs each were distributed to families with a disabled member, daily wage workers, migrants, and those affected by COVID-19.
